29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(xi): Procedure(s) involving blood or other potentially infectious materials were not performed in such a manner as to minimize splashing, spraying, spattering, or generation of droplets of these substances: BUILDING 57 OPERATING ROOM: Surgical technicians manually scrub biomaterial off of used/contaminated surgical equipment using a scrub brush with bristles on one side and a sponge on the other during and immediately after surgeries, exposing them to spray and splatter from blood or other potentially infectious materials.
