29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.     On or about June 15, 2018, employees engaged in residential roofing operations up to approximately 13.7 feet above grade were exposed to fall hazards.  Fall protection was not being utilized.     There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.     Prieto Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1166959, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 12, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 121 W. Union Avenue in Wheaton, IL 60187.

29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(ii): Ground-fault circuit interrupters. All 120-volt, single-phase 15- and 20-ampere receptacle outlets on construction sites, which are not a part of the permanent wiring of the building or structure and which are in use by employees, shall have approved ground-fault circuit interrupters for personnel protection.   On or about June 15, 2018, extension cords powering equipment on the jobsite were not plugged into a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) exposing employees to electrical hazards.   Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.19(c).
