29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following to include guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall protection system. a) Building 1, Wood Roofs, 8B Area: On or about June 14, 2018 and at times prior thereto; subcontractor employees were working near unprotected edges installing PVC sprinkler piping; exposing them to falls from 7.25 feet to 10 feet onto concrete ground. b) Building 1, Roof Jig: On or about June 14, 2018 and at times prior thereto; employees were working near unprotected edges and flying walls; exposing them to falls from 7.25 feet to 10 feet onto concrete ground. c) Building 1, Wood Roofs, 8B Area: On or about June 14, 2018 and at times prior thereto; employees used an unsecured catwalk /platform on the West side of the Tape and Texture Pit to cross over the jig; exposing employees to a seven foot fall onto concrete ground.
