29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) RTP Roofing Co., 9851 Josephine St., Thornton, CO 80229: On or before June 25, 2018, the exposing employer did not ensure that each employee performing roofing work on the roof having a 5-in-12 slope, and having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet or more above a lower level, was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. This condition exposed the employees to falling from roof elevations up to 15 feet from the eave to the ground. RTP Roofing Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13)which was contained in OSHA inspection number 967212, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 28, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 16043 Radcliff Pl., Aurora, CO 80015.
