29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: On or about 6/27/2018, in the auto lift shop area at 2014 Iris Drive, Conyers, GA: Material, parts, and other material stored on the makeshift storage racks in the shop area was not properly secured to prevent the material from falling on the employees accessing the chemicals, compressors, and other material under the storage area. The employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard from the unsecured material on the racks.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: On or about 6/27/2018, in the auto lift shop area at 2014 iris Drive, Conyers, GA: Employees are exposed to electrical shock hazards from the flexible cords/cables being used in lieu of permanent wiring to supply up to 220 volts to the auto lifts being used daily to weekly to raise and lower heavy vehicles. The employer has three (3) auto lifts in the shop area.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about 6/27/2018, in the auto lift shop area at 2014 iris Drive, Conyers, GA: Electrical wiring on the auto lift equipment being operated by the employees were not provided strain relief to protect the wiring hanging from the outlet plugs and box on the lift. The employer has three (3) auto lifts in the facility that are being used by the employees.
