29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch:    On or about June 28, 2918, at 6689 NW 16th Terrace, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the employer failed to ensure that the tool/work rest(s) on the grinding machines (bench grinder) were not set at greater than one-eight inch from the grinding wheel, during which employees were using the grinding machine with work rest set at 3/16 inch to grind material from automotive parts; thus exposing the employees to eye, face and hand hazards.        FIRST REPEAT: REBUILD MASTER TECH INC., was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4), or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1116651, citation number 01, Item number 002, and citation umber 01, item number 003, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/28/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 920 SW 2nd Place, Suite C, Pompano Beach, Florida, 33069.    NOTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
