29 CFR 1910.36(d)(2): Exit route doors were operated by a device or alarm that could restrict emergency use of the exit route if the device or alarm fails. (a) Date of Violation: On or about 06-26-2018 and times prior thereto, located at Firestone Complete Auto Care, 1383 Lee Blvd. Fort Eustis, VA 23604, in the stock room: Employee(s) were exposed to fire, smoke, and entrapment hazards from a locked emergency exit door. The exit door contained two individual locking mechanisms, one internal of the handle and the second was a manually operated dead-bolt. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The air hose outer jacket and core were exposed at the point where it enters the tool-end coupling. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
