29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings was not protected from falling by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system; (when the lower edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches above the work surface and the fall hazard is greater than 6 feet): a) Employees were exposed to 50 ft fall hazard at the open elevator shaft when installing guardrails without use of fall protection. Loc; 2nd floor. Location: 123 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn NY; first floor; On or about 8-30-2018 NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
