29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Unguarded projecting shaft end(s) did not present a smooth edge and end and projected more than one half the diameter of the shaft: Employees were exposed to amputation hazards. The tow tractor had a rotating shaft end on the transmission that was rotating at approximately 750-2400 rpms and was not guarded during the testing process. The shaft end was approximately 1 inch in diameter and projected out 3 inches.
