29 CFR 1910.95(g)(8)(ii)(B): Employees already using hearing protectors shall be refitted and retrained in the use of hearing protectors and provided with hearing protectors offering greater attenuation if necessary: a) Paver Area, on or about 7/5/18: An employee in the Paver area incurred a standard threshold shift in the right ear averaging 21.6 decibels over the 2000, 3000, and 4000 Hz range and recorded on an audiogram taken on 9/11/2017. The employee was exposed to 97 dBA of noise as determined by the company assessment of the work area and was not refitted nor retrained on hearing protection. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item
