29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 03, 2018 at the job site located at 3129 Interstate 30, Mesquite, TX; employees doing roofing work and installing metal strips were exposed to a fall hazard: (a) At least two (2) employees were leaning over the edge of the roof and exposed to fall hazard; (b) At least one (1) employee was exposed to fall hazard by standing on top of the roof awning.
