29 CFR 1910.140(c)(20): Ropes, belts, lanyards, and harnesses used for personal fall protection were not protected from being cut, abraded, melted, or otherwise damaged. a.) In the warehouse area of the facility, employees operating the Crown Order picker model and serial number not legible had attached damaged rope being used to attach operator harnesses exposing employees to fall hazards. b.) In the warehouse area of the facility, employees operating the Crown Order picker model # SP3520-30, serial # 1A351672 had attached damaged lanyard being used to attach operators harness exposing employees to fall hazards. c.) In the warehouse area of the facility, employees operating the Crown Order picker model # SP3520-20, serial # 1A334385 had attached damaged rope being used to attach operator harnesses exposing employees to fall hazards.
