29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) MT Construction, LLC at 3443 Pacific Peak Broomfield, CO 80023: On or before 7/7/18 the creating, correcting and exposing employer did not protect employees from injury in that employees framing the first story of a single family home were not wearing fall protection. An employee was working atop the joists near the exposed basement beneath. This condition exposed employees to a 20 foot fall hazard to the exposed concrete basement floor and a 10 foot fall hazard to the plywood floor inside the house.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: (a) MT Construction, LLC at 3443 Pacific Peak Broomfield, CO 80023: On or before 7/7/18 the creating, correcting and exposing employer did not protect employees from injury in that employees framing the first story of a single family home were using a step ladder to access the top of the first story as it was being framed. The ladder did not extent to the top of the first story framing and employees used the top step to access this level. This condition exposed employees to a 20 foot fall hazard to the exposed concrete basement floor and a 10 foot fall hazard to the plywood floor inside the house.
