29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, the employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA: (a) Trinity Plastics Incorporated - 13 Industrial Park Roar, Lewistown Pennsylvania - An employee suffered from heat stress, resulting in hospitalization, on July 4, 2018. The employer was aware of the hospitalization July 5, 2018 and failed to report this work-related hospitalization to OSHA within 24 hours. (The employer reported this hospitalization to OSHA on July 9, 2018.) No abatement certification or documentation required.
