Such protection did not consist of scaling to remove loose material; installation of protective barricades at intervals as necessary on the face to stop and contain falling material; or other means that provide equivalent protection: Water Pipe Project Site: Employees were not protected from loose rocks or soil that could fall from the face of the trench which measured six feet deep. Employees were exposed to contusions and lacerations.
