29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each operator had successfully completed the training required by paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5), prior to permitting an employee to operate a power industrial truck:(Construction Reference: 1926.602(d) At the location of 5142 W. 154th St. in Leawood KS, an employee engaged in moving plumbing material with the use of an all terrain forklift (Sunbelt Rentals, Telehandler #6042) and employees near the forklift were exposed to struck by hazards. The employees were exposed in that the forklift operator had not completed the required training for forklifts.
