29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a)  100 South York Road Mechanicsburg, PA - Employees were observed performing roofing activity on a steep residential roof, 10 in 12 pitch without the benefit of a complete fall protection system, thereby exposing employees to a fall of 22 feet to the ground below, on or about July 11, 2018.    No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    (a)   100 South York Road Mechanicsburg, PA - The employer did not provide training to employee(s) which would have allowed employees to recognize the hazards of falling and the equipment and procedures to use to minimize those hazards, thereby exposing employees to possible injuries, on or about July 11, 2018.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.
