29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii): 29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii): When mechanical equipment was being used, the warning line was not erected at least 6 feet (1.8 m) from the roof edge which is parallel to the direction of mechanical equipment operation, and at least 10 feet (3.1 m) from the roof edge which is perpendicular to the direction of mechanical equipment operation. On or about 07/11/2018 employees were working on the roof deck using a warning line system as fall protection and the warning line system was not 6 and 10 feet from the unguarded roof edges.
