29 CFR 1910.95(b)(2): The employer did not ensure that exposure to impulsive or impact noise did not exceed 140 dB peak sound pressure level: Earle M. Jorgensen Company, Lithonia, GA - On or about 08/07/18 and times prior to, employees were exposed to a peak noise exposure of 144.3 dBA and 140.4 dBA, exceeding the 140 dBA peak level. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
