29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure: (a) Adans Construction LLC, at 285 Centennial Drive, Louisville, CO: On 7/11/18, the employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Employees were re-roofing a 3/12 pitch roof of a multi-level home. Three employees were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This condition exposed the employees to an approximate 12.7 foot fall hazard.
