OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees jumping onto front end loaders in operation.    a) Jobsite: An employee was exposed to vehicle struck by and roll over hazards when jumping onto front end loaders actively traversing in the yard.  An employee who attempted to jump onto the exterior side steps of the loader suffered fatal injuries after he slipped and fell and got run over by the rear tire.    Abatement Note: General methods of control applicable for the circumstances include, but not limited to the following:      1) Follow the 2011 version of the manufacturer's Operation & Maintenance Manual for Wheel Loader WA200PZ-6, including but not limited to:      Pg. 2-15, Precautions When Getting On Or Off Machine > No Jumping On Or Off Machine  Never jump on or off the machine. Never get on or off a moving machine.      Pg. 2-26, Precautions When Traveling  When traveling or carrying out operations, always keep a safe distance from people, structures, or other machines to avoid coming into contact with them.      Noted on or about 7/9/18.
