29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: On or about July 11, 2017, at 1121 Crandon Boulevard, Key Biscayne, Florida, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while operating a two-point suspension scaffold that was not inspected for deteriorated and torn protective covers over the ascent and descent switches on two of its hoist motors. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.

29 CFR 1926.451(f)(7): Scaffolds were not erected, moved, dismantled, or altered, by trained and experienced employees under the supervision and direction of a competent person qualified in scaffold erection, moving, dismantling or alteration; Such activities were not performed only by experienced and trained employees selected for such work by the competent person: On or about July 11, 2017, at 1121 Crandon Boulevard, Key Biscayne, Florida, the employer failed to disassemble, assemble, and move a two-point suspension scaffold under the supervision and direction of a competent person for employees to apply stucco, paint and water proofing to the exterior of an existing 12 story high-rise condominium building, thus exposing the workers to a fall hazard. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.

NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
