29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. a) 2979 W. School House Ln., Philadelphia, PA 19144, Kenilworth Building - The employer did not ensure that employees working at wall openings with inside bottom edges of approximately 31.5 inches above the walking/working surfaces were protected by guardrail, safety net, or personal fall arrest systems, thus exposing employees to fall from height hazards of approximately 13 feet to 123 feet above the lower level.
