29 CFR 1910.23(b)(10): The employer did not ensure any ladder with structural or other defects was immediately tagged "Dangerous: Do Not Use" or with similar language in accordance with 1910.145 and removed from service until repaired in accordance with 1910.22(d), or replaced: a) Worksite, Warehouse: Employees were authorized to use a Ballymore rolling ladder with a broken step to retrieve merchandise; on or about 7/18/18. b) Worksite, Warehouse: Employees were authorized to use a Ballymore rolling ladder with broken structural components to retrieve merchandise; on or about 7/18/18. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
