29 CFR 1910.140(c)(20): The employer did not ensure that ropes, belts, lanyards, lifelines, and harnesses used for personal fall protection were protected from being cut, abraded, melted, or otherwise damaged: Location - 8 Baxter Street, Acton, MA. On or about July 17, 2018, the arborist climbing line was not protected from being cut while working aloft in a tree with a chainsaw at a height greater than fourteen feet above lower level. Employee cut his lifeline and fell to lower level.
