29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Mundy Street, Wilkes Barre, PA: Employees were not protected from falling while performing roofing work on a low-slope roof with at a height of approximately 16 feet above the ground level, observed on or about July 19, 2018. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED John Armitage Construction was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 978828, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/16/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 507 Main St., Pittston, PA.
