29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a) 17 S. Commerce Way Bethlehem, PA - on or about July 20, 2018, an employee performed maintenance to include servicing and repairs on the APPS machine, but was not provided training as an authorized employee to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1008765, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on March 30, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1025 W. 20th Ave. Oshkosh, WI. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 975470, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 715 NW Hoyt St. Portland, OR.
