29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about July 19, 2018: Employees of ACS Heating & Air working on the roof and engaged in HVAC installation at 145 Industrial Boulevard in McDonough, Georgia were exposed to a fall of more than 20 feet where they were not protected by guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The employees were working, walking, and standing outside the warning line system without a safety monitor or fall protection.
