29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about 7/20/18, at the jobsite, an employee was not protected from falling 9 feet 3 inches from a 6/12 pitched roof. The employee was installing waterproof sealant and standing directly at the unprotected edge of the roof.
