29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    a) On or about July 10, 2018, at the infeed belt tension area, on the APV frozen dough machine, employees were sprinkling flour on cookies so they would not stick without the belt being guarded where it runs over the roller, exposing employees to the hazard of being caught-in the ingoing nip point.     b) On or about July 18, 2018, at the conveyor on the APV frozen dough machine, employees were inspecting cookies and walking along the conveyor where in-going nip points were not guarded, exposing employees to the hazard of being caught-in the conveyor.      The Aryzta, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212 (a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1084372, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on December 24, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 6301 E. Stassney Ln. Bldg. #7, STE 100, Austin TX.
