OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed struck-by hazards.    a) Zinc Line - On or about July 12, 2018, the employer did not ensure that the missing hook latch on the Dayton 1-ton Electric Chain Hoist, model #3YB86H, was replaced prior to being used.  The hoist hook was used to lift metal part baskets weighing up to 600 pounds without the hook latch and not removed from service.    b) Nickel Line - On or about July 12, 2018, the employer did not ensure that the missing hook latch on the Dayton 1-ton Electric Chain Hoist, model #3YB86H, was replaced prior to being used.
