Listed or labeled equipment shall be installed and used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing or labeling.    a) BEC Longmont, LLC dba Ziggis Coffee at 1729 Hover St. Longmont, CO 80501: On or before 7/20/18 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that temporary electrical wiring was daisy-chained in order to increase the number of available outlets. This condition exposed employees to fire and electrical shock hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) of 1910.1200 for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met:    (a)   BEC Longmont, Inc DBA Ziggis Coffee, at 1729 Hover Street, Longmont, CO: On and preceding 7/20/2018, the employer did not develop, implement or maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g) and (h) of 29 CFR 1910.1200 for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met. Employees used chemicals to wash dishes and for cleaning surfaces. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards associated with use of chemicals such as, but not limited to:      1. Premium Pot & Pan Detergent;   2. 22 Multi-Quat Sanitizer.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and safety data sheets.
