29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee is fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a. 100 Melrich Road, Cranbury, NJ - Warehouse/Paint Mixing Room Employees were required to wear 3M half-face, dual cartridge tight-fitting respirators while mixing paints without being provided medical evaluations prior to the employee's use of the respirator. Violation occurred on or about July 25, 2018. The company Albert Kemperle, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1904.134(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 923524, citation number 1, item number 1/b and was affirmed as a final order on 9/27/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 82 S. Central Avenue, Valley Stream, NY 11580. WRITTEN ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
