29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At 3151 Boulevard DeSevilla, Sevilla Place Apartments Unit 5, Foley, Alabama: On or about July 24, 2018 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities from the top of floor joists without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 22.2 feet to the ground below. b) At 3151 Boulevard DeSevilla, Sevilla Place Apartments Unit 5, Foley, Alabama: On or about July 24, 2018 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use a walk board to transit across a breezeway without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 11.1 feet to the floor below. c) At 3151 Boulevard DeSevilla, Sevilla Place Apartments Unit 2, Foley, Alabama: On or about July 24, 2018 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities from the top of floor joists without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 11feet to the concrete floor below below.
