29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The procedures shall clearly and specifically outline the scope, purpose, authorization, rules, and techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy, and the means to enforce compliance including, but not limited to specific procedural steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy. a) Corn Area: On or about July 29, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to electrical and struck-by hazards in that no specific procedures to control hazardous electrical energy were developed for servicing the following equipment; Auger Corn Feeder, Corn Mixer, Corn Conveyor, Cooling Conveyor 7 Tier, and Vacuum Table. b) Corn Area: On or about July 29, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that no specific procedures to control hazardous hydraulic and pneumatic energy were developed for servicing the following equipment; Counter Stacker, Metal Detector, Tortilla Cutter and Sheeter. c) Flour Area: On or about July 29, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to electrical and struck-by hazards in that no specific procedures to control hazardous electrical energy were developed for servicing the following equipment; Bag Sealer, Cooling Conveyor, Exhaust Fan, Flour Conveyor, Flour Feeder, Flour Lift, Metal Detector, and Vacuum Table. d) Flour Area: On or about July 29, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to electrical and struck-by hazards in that no specific procedures to control hazardous hydraulic and pneumatic energy were developed for servicing the following equipment; Counter Stacker, Chip Cutter, Metal Detector, Tortilla Cutter Tortilla Cutter, Rounder Divider, and Stacker Counter.
