29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; this evaluation did not include a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazard(s) and an identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form. a) On or about July 26, 2018 or prior thereto: The employer operates two propane powered forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT's) in Production and Warehouse Areas; a Daewoo GC15S-2, S/N CZ-00226, and a Caterpillar GP25, S/N 5AM05256. Both PIT's emit carbon monoxide, and the employer had not conducted a workplace assessment to estimate employee exposures to this substance relative to the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 50 parts per million (PPM). NOTE: Abatement certification is NOT required for this item.
