29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). On or about 07/16/2018 at the 150 High Street Construction Project, an employee was exposed to cave-in hazards while working in a trench that was not shored or sloped or otherwise protected. Date by which violation must be abated: Immediately upon receipt of citation. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), the employer must provide documentation that this violation has been abated within 10 days of the date it receives this citation.
