29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1): The employer did not comply with the manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators: (a) Townhomes located at 1027-1030 Riverbend Club Drive SE, Front side of townhome: The employer exposed employees to falls of 2-feet, 10-inches to the lower level on the platform material hoist, in that the hoist was used as a ladder to access the roof. The manufacturer's general safety instructions state that this hoist should never be used as a ladder.
