29 CFR 1910.132(e): The employer did not ensure that employees were not using defective or damaged personal protective equipment in the workplace. Fuel cell, building 2629, on or about 25 July 2018 and times prior thereto; the employer did not ensure that defective personal protective equipment was removed from service. A pair of heavy duty butyl rubber gloves had a cut on the index finger of the left hand glove. Gloves are worn when handling methyl ethyl ketone. This condition exposed employees to a chemical hazard.
