29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Except as provided by paragraph (a)(3) of this section, each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who was on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet* (4.6m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems: (a) Real Life Ministries Field House: On or about July 26, 2018, and at times prior thereto, employees without a means of fall protection were installing the OptiLiner Banded Liner system, which exposed them to the hazard of falling approximately 30 feet ground to eave. Note: Abatement Certification and Documentation ARE required for this item.
