29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying parts and sparks, etc.    a)  TC Plant, Row 4, on or about 8/2/18:  Presses #47, 48 and 50, guarding was not adequate to protect employees from being struck by the ends of the steel coils from the unwinders as the steel unwraps from the coils and slaps around exposing employees to being struck by the steel.  Safety fences have been damaged on all three unwinders from where the steel has struck the fencing when the tension of the steel on the coils release.
