29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about 8/2/2018 at 2365 Buford Highway Buford, GA; workers were observed exposed to fall hazards while installing coping in a heavy downpour without the use of personal fall protection at: a. 35-feet on the roof of the newly constructed church, b. 10-feet on the top of the newly erected dumpster wall. Ideal Building Solutions, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1270552, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/18/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 5095 Oakbrook Parkway Norcross, GA.
