29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:    a) 2-8 Grant St., Easthampton, MA: On or about August 2, 2018, an employee was observed roofing this residence, more than 10 feet above the ground below without any fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and/or did not train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    a) 2-8 Grant St., Easthampton, MA: On or about August 2, 2018, the employer did not train his employee who he assigned to perform roofing work in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize fall hazards.     Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).    Roberts Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.503 (a) (1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number  1105687 citation number  1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on  12/14/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 613 Westhampton Rd., Westhampton, MA.
