29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: (a) On and before 8/9/2018, at the detailing area, for the detailers working with cleaning chemicals such as, but not limited to, Technician's Choice TEC386 Solution Now All Purpose Cleaner Degreaser Concentrate, Platinum PCW36 Foamy Lube Detergent Concentrate, and Corrosive TEC387 Orange Crush All Purpose Cleaner Degreaser. The employer did not enforce the use of personal protective equipment for the protection of the eyes such as but not limited to, safety glasses.
