29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Unguarded projecting shaft end(s) did not present a smooth edge and the shaft ends projected more than one half the diameter of the shaft: The River Area: The two (2) DeWalt 6" bench grinders, equipped with deburring flap wheels and a wire wheel, were missing both the left and right side safety guards to cover the spindle end, nut and flange projections on each machine.
