29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 455 West State Road 436, Altamonte Springs FL; On or about August 8, 2018 the employer exposed his employees to fall hazards in that employees were required to work from a ledge while painting a sign that had an unprotected edge exposing employees to a 11.5 foot fall to the next level.
