29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: (a) Jose Sanchez at 290 Hermosa St., Lochbuie, CO 80603: On and before August 14, 2018, the exposing employer did not ensure each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system in that five employees were engaged in tearing off an old roof and applying a new roof on a single family residential home. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards of more than 6 feet and up to approximately 9 feet or more.
