NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) On or about 08/01/18, during renovation of the Alliance Building, located on 183 Main Street, in Rochester, New York, employees did not follow the safety rules as provided for in the Operators Manual for the 10 inch Ryobi Compound Miter Saw (model TS1342L). The operators manual includes warnings to reduce the risk of injury by not using the miter saw on the floor and to anchor or secure the tool during use. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
