29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Employees conducting roofing activities on a roof with a 6:12 pitch were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 11.7 feet. The R&L Contractors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1278738, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on December 27, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 19120 Chapel Hill Drive, Brookfield, WI 53045.
