29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): (3) Walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. a. On or about August 8th, 2018, at 1111 N. Ocean Drive, Hollywood FL 33019, employees were exposed to slip and trip hazards from cardboard that was laid over the top of protruding door way thresholds. The employees were walking and moving food and beverage carts over the thresholds to serve guests in the 9th floor ballrooms.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level: a. On or about August 8th, 2018, at 1111 N. Ocean Drive, Hollywood FL 33019, employees were exposed to fire hazards from an obstructed emergency exit. The employees were working in the 9th floor ballrooms and service areas.
